Terms of Service

The service. ZoneSheet extracts dimensional and regulatory data from the zoning and permit documents you provide and returns it as a structured data sheet with source citations. It is a research aid, not legal, engineering, or land-use advice. Verify any value against the official ordinance before relying on it.
Trials and billing. Paid plans begin with a free trial. We collect a payment method at signup but do not charge during the trial. When the trial ends, your plan renews automatically at the price shown at signup until you cancel. Your price, once granted, is honored for as long as your subscription stays active.
The 30-day money-back guarantee. Every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. Request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason, by emailing hello@zonesheet.com. We approve and send the refund within one business day of your request; your card network or bank controls when it posts.
The missed-fee guarantee. If an Impact Fees itemized estimate omits a fee that (a) the jurisdiction had published on its official fee schedule and in effect on the date you ran the estimate, and (b) falls within a jurisdiction listed as covered on the estimator at that time, tell us at hello@zonesheet.com. We correct the estimate within two business days and refund the current month of your subscription in full (on annual billing, one-twelfth of the annual price). One remedy per distinct fee error; this guarantee covers the published fees the estimator itemizes, not fees a jurisdiction has not published or negotiated project-specific charges.
Refund requests and offers. When you request a refund we may ask what went wrong, offer to fix the specific problem, or offer a discount to stay. Every part of that is optional and none of it affects your refund: the refund stays available the whole time, and declining any offer never delays it.
Cancellation. Cancel anytime from your account; access continues through the end of the current billing period and you are not charged again.
Acceptable use. Send only documents you have the right to share, and do not use ZoneSheet to break the law or to overload the service.
No warranty; limited liability. The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZoneSheet is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior three months.
